Agora' ponsel kedua di dunia yang berbasis Google Android siap dijual

Google android sepertinya akan banyak digunakan oleh beberapa vendor ponsel dunia sebagai sistem operasi dalam produk mereka. Setelah beberapa bulan lalu untuk pertama kalinya sebuah ponsel berbasiskan Google android dirilis dengan nama G1 dan dibundel dengan operator T-Mobile maka awal tahun depan tepatnya pada bulan Januari 2009 ponsel berbasis Google android kedua pun akan segeral dilepas ke pasaran.

Untuk kali ini Kogan Technologies, sebuah perusahaan berbelanja online asal Australia, yang siap menjual ponsel berbasis Google android untuk pasar Australia dan juga dunia. 'Agora', begitulah nama yang diberikan oleh Kogan Technologies kepada produk baru mereka yang saat ini masih dalam tahap menerima pra-penjualan. Rencananya Agora akan mulai dijual pada 29 Januari 2009.

Untuk permulaan Kogan merilis dua model Agora yaitu Agora and Agora Pro yang masing-masing dibanderol dengan harga $299 dan $399. Kogar juga melayani penjualan di luar Australia dengan harga total untuk sebuah Agora Pro menjadi $458.85.
